WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca was well represented at the Monterey County Hospitality Association’s 35th annual Hospitality Recognition Luncheon this past week. Among the hundreds of Monterey County nominees, four Laguna Seca associates were finalists.

Proudly representing WeatherTech Raceway at the luncheon were Kimberly Agner-Tila (accounting), Franco Contreras (marketing), Madison Hutchison (operations), and Alec Gamino (communications).

“Recognition of our associates by the MCHA is a really big deal and a tribute to the passion and excellence these individuals play not only in the hospitality profession, but in the community as a whole,” commented John Narigi, president and general manager of WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. “We are all extremely proud of their commitment to providing guests with the best possible and memorable experiences.”

Master of Ceremonies was Teddy Balestreri, of the Cannery Row Company and featured speakers included Monterey Mayor Tyller Williamson; Kevin Ellis, vice chair of MCHA; Congressman Jimmy Panetta and California Senator John Laird.

MCHA is the only trade organization that serves all facets of Monterey County’s hospitality industry, which is one of the top economic drivers for the County.
