Motorcycle enthusiasts will hit the track at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca to kick off The Quail Ride on Friday, May 16. Already an annual highlight for motorcycle enthusiasts, this year’s event will be even more exciting, as participants will ride alongside renowned motorsports protective apparel designer and artist, and this year’s Legend of the Sport: Troy Lee.

The Quail Ride perfectly blends the passion for motorcycles with the beauty of the Monterey Peninsula. Participants enjoy a 100-mile journey through some of the most scenic routes in Monterey, including rolling hills and lush landscapes, as well as stops for lunch and dinner.

The exclusive experience will kick off with thrilling parade laps around the iconic WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Riders will take on the winding road course and sharp turns, including the infamous Corkscrew. Vintage and modern motorcycles are welcomed.

The Quail Ride is my favorite part of our annual motorcycle event,” said Gordon McCall, Director of Motorsports at The Quail Golf Club. “It showcases incredible motorcycles as they are meant to be enjoyed - on the road with friends - and WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca’s support makes it a must-do for every motorcycle rider’s bucket list.”

The Quail Ride kicks off the fun before The Quail MotoFest on Saturday, May 17. The revamped event returns to The Quail Golf Club for the 15th year and will include more than 200 vintage and modern motorcycles on display, as well as elevated entertainment such as live music, lifestyle vendors, a dedicated children’s area, beer garden and delicious local food.

Carmel’s premier motorcycle event will celebrate three featured classes: Italian Innovation by Bimota, Tribute to Yoshimura and Celebrating 45 Years of the BMW GS, alongside 10 traditional classes that highlight bikes of different styles, brands and decades. Troy Lee will participate in the annual Fireside Chat as this year’s Legend of the Sport honoree.

Tickets to The Quail Ride and The Quail MotoFest are available here and entrant applications are now open for those who would like to display their bike at the event.
