Expansion marks a major milestone as the program enters its 26th year.

Atlanta, GA. - Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA) has officially opened its new Porsche Track Experience (PTX) at the iconic WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California. The first customers took to the track on March 12. The launch marks a major milestone for Porsche’s U.S. driver development programs, expanding PTX to a second U.S. location as it enters its 26th year of operation domestically and 52nd year internationally.

"There is no better way to conquer the Corkscrew,' said Timo Resch, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America. "Our longstanding presence with PTX in Alabama has been a success for more than two decades, so it makes sense to launch a sister program in California. Just like the east coast, we have something for everyone from beginners all the way to advanced drivers pursuing a competition license for wheel-to-wheel racing."

Located to conveniently serve driving enthusiasts on the West Coast, the program introduces participants to a full suite of courses—from foundational vehicle control instruction to advanced performance training—delivered on one of the world’s most storied racing circuits. The complete 2026 schedule is now available for booking online: PorscheDriving.com.

Set among the scenic hills of Monterey County, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca provides an ideal setting for this program. Celebrated for its challenging layout and world famous Corkscrew turn, the track offers a dynamic environment for PTX participants. The expansion builds on the deep and historic ties between Porsche and Laguna Seca, the site of four Rennsport Reunions, and 14 overall victories since the course opened in 1957.

The launch of PTX Laguna Seca follows Porsche’s announcement that it will serve as the Official Car of WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and support Friends of Laguna Seca in their ongoing revitalization efforts at the historic facility.
