Countdown to the Reunion: Featured Car of the Week

1960 Huffaker BMC Mk 1 Formula Junior
Built by legendary Northern California race car constructor Joe Huffaker for British Motor Car Distributors in San Francisco, the 1960 Huffaker BMC Mk 1 Formula Junior was one of America's most successful Formula Junior racers, recording nine victories in its debut season. Powered by a highly tuned BMC engine, the lightweight single-seater competed during a pivotal era when Formula Junior served as the training ground for future motorsport legends. Owned by Richard Spritz, this car represents the craftsmanship and innovation that would make Huffaker a respected name in racing, the Mk 1 remains a rare and important piece of American motorsport history and a fitting participant in the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion.
