Mazda Brings Legendary 787B to Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion
Mazda Motorsports will headline the 2026 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion with a landmark gathering of iconic race cars, including, straight from Japan, the legendary 1991 24 Hour of Le Mans winning Mazda 787B. It is the first time many American fans will have the chance to see and hear the car that rewrote motorsport history in person.
"Seven-Time" Will Be on the Grid for IROC
Jimmie Johnson is returning to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. The seven-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion, and current NASCAR team owner will compete during Monterey Car Week. IROC returns as part of the 2026 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, bringing another all-star lineup of racing royalty back to the world-famous circuit.

Japanese automotive culture comes to life at the JDM Car Show and Display during the 2026 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. Celebrating the passion, performance, and innovation of Japan's most iconic marques, the showcase will feature an impressive collection of enthusiast-owned classics, modern performance machines, and rare imports. Set against the backdrop of the Reunion's Icons of Japanese Motorsport theme, the JDM Car Show offers fans a unique opportunity to experience the road cars that inspired generations alongside the legendary race cars that made history.
Applications are still being accepted for the Kaiju Company x Super Drive JDM Legends Display, taking place on the lakebed during the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Owners of exceptional Japanese performance and enthusiast vehicles are invited to apply for the opportunity to showcase their cars as part of this celebration of Japanese automotive culture during Monterey Car Week.
