The Official Track Records of WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca

For nearly seven decades, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca has challenged the world's greatest drivers, manufacturers, and racing machines. From legendary battles through the Corkscrew to breakthrough engineering achievements, every lap around the iconic 2.238-mile circuit is a measure of precision, innovation, and performance. The track has evolved over the years—including its current configuration following the 1988 layout changes and a complete repaving in 2023—but its reputation as one of the world's premier road courses has remained unchanged.

A WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca Track Record represents more than the fastest lap. It is a benchmark that demonstrates a vehicle's capability on one of motorsport's most technically demanding circuits. Whether set by a production vehicle or a purpose-built race car, every officially recognized record becomes part of Laguna Seca's storied history.

Czinger 21C HDF

Official WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca Production Car Track Record Holder

Since its founding in 2019, Czinger Vehicles has repeatedly redefined what is possible for a production car at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. The Los Angeles-based manufacturer has established itself as one of the most innovative names in high-performance automotive engineering, breaking the Raceway's official production car track record four times.

Czinger first captured the production car record in 2021, when the revolutionary 21C lapped WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in 1:25.44, eclipsing the previous record by more than two seconds.

Following a brief exchange of records with Koenigsegg in 2024, Czinger reclaimed the title just eight days later with a 1:24.75 lap.

In July 2025, the company raised the bar again as part of its California Gold Rush initiative, where the road-legal 21C High Downforce (HDF) completed more than 1,000 miles of public-road driving while visiting five California race circuits in five days — setting a production car lap record at every track it contested. During the Laguna Seca stop, the 21C HDF established a new benchmark with a 1:24.39 lap.

After Koenigsegg briefly reclaimed the record later that year, Czinger returned once again. In December 2025, the 21C HDF delivered an extraordinary 1:22.30 lap — more than two seconds faster than the previous record — to become the current Official WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca Production Car Track Record holder.
