Earlier this year, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca launched the #RaceDayHerWay campaign on International Women’s Day — a season-long celebration of the many ways women connect with and love motorsports. Now, as the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship rolls into Monterey May 9–11, the track is kicking things up a notch with a weekend packed full of special activations designed to honor and engage female racing fans, made only more special by the fact that the race weekend falls on Mother’s Day.

From coffee chats to panel talks, content creators to community stories, here’s how you can celebrate the love of racing — her way — at Laguna Seca:

Latte’s with Lauri
Saturday, May 10 from 9 -10 a.m. meet Lauri Eberhart, CEO of Friends of Laguna Seca and long-time motorsports legal and business leader, at the paddock plaza near the entrance to the iconic Tire Bridge. Grab a cup of locally roasted coffee from Captain + Stoker and join Lauri along with other legendary women from across the racing industry for casual conversations and meaningful connections.

Women in Motorsports Panel
On Saturday at 11:25 a.m. head to the main stage for a dynamic conversation hosted by Eva Gregory from The @BeDifferentialPodcast. Eva will be joined by professional women from across the motorsports world to talk about the unique ways women drive change and growth in racing, both on and off the track.

#RaceDayHerWay Signing Wall
Got your own story? Visit the special #RaceDayHerWay space in the paddock, where you can share how you fell in love with racing and what makes race day your way. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, your voice is part of the future of motorsports.

Content Worth Following
Powerhouse creators like @AshVandelay and @GridClique, will be on-site capturing and sharing the fan experience while spotlighting the many ways women show their passion for racing and IMSA. Make sure you give them a follow and keep up with the content all weekend long.

Women in Motorsports North America (WIMNA)
WIMNA will also be on hand, hosting a group photoshoot on the main stage and partnering up with Bosch to provide exclusive behind-the-scenes opportunities for young women in STEM. Their ongoing commitment to increasing female representation in motorsport will be front and center all weekend long.

A Surprise Vendor Activation
Stop by the Promenade in the Lakebed, where a very special vendor will be hosting an exciting activation designed especially with women in mind. We don’t want to spoil the surprise — but trust us, you’ll want to check it out!

So grab your gear, your friends, and your mom and join us at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca May 9–11 for a weekend of racing that celebrates all the ways women fuel their passion for motorsports. Let’s make it #RaceDayHerWay!
