Monterey, CA (April 24, 2026) - WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca is proud to announce that Ford Motor Company, through its Ford Racing division, has named the Ford Raptor as the Official Truck of WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, strengthening the connection between one of motorsport’s most iconic venues and one of the most recognized performance truck lineups in the industry.

This partnership brings a powerful on-site presence to race weekends, highlighted by a fleet of Ford’s most capable and performance-driven vehicles, including the Ford F-150 Raptor, Ford Ranger Raptor, and Ford Bronco Raptor. These vehicles will be prominently featured across the raceway, showcasing Ford’s engineering and off-road heritage to fans and participants alike.

“This partnership with Ford Racing brings together two brands that embody performance, durability, and heritage,” said Mel Harder, President and General Manager, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. “From the Corkscrew to the paddock, Ford’s presence will be felt throughout the facility, delivering meaningful and memorable experiences for our fans.”

As part of the agreement, Ford Racing will deliver premium fan engagement and hospitality experiences during major events, including the upcoming, season-opening StubHub Monterey Sports Car Championship, May 1-3, 2026.

Elevated Fan Experiences

Ford Racing will play a key role in enhancing the guest experience through several high-impact activations:

  • Raptor Corkscrew Shuttle - An exclusive fan transportation experience operating during the upcoming IMSA race weekend, utilizing Ford Raptor vehicles to shuttle spectators to the world-famous Corkscrew.
  • Ford Racing Car Corral and Owners Lounge - A dedicated hospitality and display area, offering Ford Mustang and Raptor owners a premium, community-driven experience with curated access and amenities, located trackside with shaded seating at turn five, and a parade lap on Saturday, May 2nd.

“Ford Racing has a long and storied history at Laguna Seca and as we celebrate 125 years of racing as America’s Race Team, this partnership feels like such a natural fit. The Raptor has defined the off-road performance vehicle segment since its arrival 15 years ago and we think it will serve as the perfect partner to such an iconic American racetrack. We can’t wait to see the Raptor being put through its paces and enjoyed by customers and fans alike.” Chris Bassett, Global Ford Racing Brand Manager.

The StubHub Monterey Sports Car Championship at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca returns May 1–3, 2026 with a “throwback” theme, blending modern IMSA SportsCar endurance racing with the spirit of the sport’s golden eras. Fans can expect a nostalgic, immersive atmosphere featuring heritage-inspired liveries, vintage apparel, and celebrations of iconic teams and moments, while today’s top drivers and manufacturers compete on the legendary circuit.
